INGREDIENTS
- 2 small apples, cored and cut into 1/2-inch thick rounds
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice to prevent browning
- 3 tablespoons peanut, cashew, or almond butter
- 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons gluten-free granola
INSTRUCTIONS
- If not eating right away, use lemon juice on each cut side of the apple
- Spread one side of half of the apple slices with peanut, cashew or almond butter
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips and granola
- Top with remaining apple slices, pressing down gently to make the sandwiches.
NOTES
You can use toppings to personalize these for your family!
